So after the spectacular news that I will be spending the next year in Senegal, it was only fitting that Em and I went to an equally amazing Amadou et Mariam concert in Montreal. It was awesome - the entire crowd was swaying in time with the music and singing the lyrics at the top of their lungs. Definitely a good omen of things to come! I can't wait for September...
